Trauma Resus leads the way in providing advanced first aid training and clinical governance. We are the experts in advanced first aid. Medically-led by a group of healthcare professionals, their deep experience and understanding of pre-hospital and in-hospital care sits at the heart of all we do and our aim is to transform patient care, improve patient outcomes and to save lives. EURIECA™ - More than GWO Enhanced First Aid As the renewable energy sector grows, more windfarms are being developed, with turbines located at distances further and further from shore, and civilisation. This means that in medical emergencies, response times are longer, and operators have a greater need for onsite advanced first aid and lifesaving skills. Our EURIECA course is designed specifically for those working in often remote offshore or onshore wind environments, with the aim to reduce preventable pre-hospital deaths. Our advanced first aid training helps individuals to identify and treat life-threatening injuries sustained in these remote areas, and to prepare casualties for rapid evacuation to hospital. The EURIECA course is compliant with the accredited Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Enhanced First Aid (EFA) criteria. Our certificated GWO EFA course has additional trauma & resuscitation modules bolted on to create the EURIECA™ course, leading to a triple certificated course : GWO Basic First Aid GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) EURIECA The GWO governs the basic and enhanced elements of the course, and Trauma Resus provides the clinical governance necessary for the advanced first aid elements, ensuring the course is set to recognisable medical standards outside of the wind industry.
