Dr. Alexandra St. Pé

Senior Energy Leader, Utility Scale Development - South

Alexandra St. Pé is a senior energy leader at RWE Americas with over 15 years of experience developing and delivering large-scale power infrastructure across the U.S. South. A Louisiana native with a PhD in energy, she brings a rare combination of technical depth, market strategy expertise, and deep regional relationships to some of the most complex energy challenges in the country.

At RWE, Alexandra led the company's Louisiana offshore wind market, including the acquisition of a 2 GW Gulf of Mexico lease, and currently leads onshore wind and hybrid plant development across the MISO South region, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. She is driven by a belief that new energy infrastructure should do more than power the grid: it should strengthen the communities it serves. That conviction shows up in her work building partnerships with utilities, policymakers, port authorities, and community stakeholders across the Gulf South to expand the region’s energy story.

Her career spans offshore and onshore wind, utility-scale solar, energy innovation, grid infrastructure planning, and market strategy across both regulated and competitive power markets. She is a recognized voice on Louisiana's energy future, its century-long legacy as a global energy hub, the low-carbon demand signal reshaping its industrial export markets, and the supply chain and workforce opportunities that come with building a new energy market from the ground up.

Outside of work, Alexandra is a proud mom who draws her motivation from family and enjoys time outdoors in the sunny green belt of Austin, Texas.
