Casia is a communications and graphic design professional with a background in nonprofit storytelling, digital media, and audience engagement across environmental, education, and social impact organizations. Her work centers on building clear, cohesive narratives that connect mission-driven organizations with the communities they serve.

Before joining SEWC, Casia worked in nonprofit and mission-driven communications roles supporting environmental sustainability, renewable energy, education, and community-based initiatives. Her experience includes translating research on climate resilience and agroecology into accessible public-facing materials, managing social media and email campaigns, developing reports and digital assets, and supporting donor and grant communications for organizations working at the intersection of climate, equity, and education.

She holds an M.A. in Communications and a B.A. in International Relations and Journalism from American University. Outside of work, she enjoys hosting hyper-local culinary experiences and writing climate-centered fiction. She is passionate about communications that support equity, resilience, and a more sustainable future.
